Members of the workshop will write an 800-1000-word review, submitted three weeks in advance. I'll mark up all reviews. The workshop will open with preliminary remarks, devote the majority of time to discussing some of the reviews (probably 4-6), and close with a question-and-answer session. Please review a book no more than a year old. I won't set restrictions on style. If you review an established poet, you should show some knowledge of the poet's work. A review should not consist only of quotation, nor should it entirely lack quotation. The author of any review longer than 1000 words will be sent to buy tea and cookies for everyone in the workshop.
